The event was organized by the Energy Swaraj Foundation in association with AICTE and CSIR.

The objective of the event was to assemble a climate countdown clock that displays the time left for the average global surface temperature to rise by 1.5oC or the time left for 1.5 oC global warming. About 200 groups from various schools and colleges participated in the event. The clocks assembled by the groups were given to the groups for display in their campuses.
