Student's Counselors

A group of 22 students is assigned to a faculty member who serves as a Group Counselor. Group counseling meetings are held every fortnight to discuss students’ problems and guide them in improving their overall personality and preparing them to meet life’s challenges.

Students may discuss issues related to academic performance, emotional disturbances, family concerns, behavioral or habitual disorders, and social isolation with their counselor.

Responsibilities of Group Counselor

  1. Provide guidance to students on various options available during their course of study.
  2. Identify and develop students’ abilities and interests.
  3. Help students solve personal, educational, and psychological problems.
  4. Develop positive attitudes and behavior to face challenges.
  5. Create awareness among students regarding their future profession.
  6. Help students recognize their strengths and overcome their weaknesses.

Counseling has helped students improve their academic performance and develop the right behavior, values, and ethics in their lives.
